Officially one year as the @sugarspiceapparel boss 💫 so many ups and downs throughout this year that I want to share. We literally started from the bottom with 0 Instagram followers and now have over 6,000; over 390 customers; shipped orders to 35 out of 50 states (including Alaska!) + DC and we still have so far to go. Reached many goals this year but also failed to reach several that I set for myself 12 months ago. This year has brought lots of life (and business) lessons, emotional highs and lows but most of all taught me that I could actually do it. My self confidence has grown exponentially and I’ve learned to care much less about what others think which has always been a huge flaw of mine. Thank you to everyone who has encouraged and supported me and this endeavor (no matter how crazy it sounded in the beginning), all of our S&S customers and most importantly @dpuglise because without him I would’ve never actually pulled the trigger or had the courage to start this (or been financially stable enough to do so 🙃). Lastly for anyone sitting on the idea of a dream or passion that seems too far fetched to achieve... never be too scared or self-conscious to just go for it 💃🏼
Faux fur and bell bottoms 🙌🏼 getting the most out of my fave winter outfits since spring in Austin is right around the corner 🌞 full outfit from @sugarspiceapparel • • To all my other boutique bosses out there - read how to prepare for your first pop-up shop tonight on the blog 🌟 tips on what you’ll need, how to set up, staying within budget & more at lizpuglise.com
Starting 2019 off right with @sugarspiceapparel ’s best pop up shop yet 🥳 thanks to everyone that came out!! Shout out to @dpuglise for helping me all weekend long (or as he calls himself my “unpaid intern” lolol). Couldn’t do it without ya 💕
Thinking of putting another pup under the Christmas tree this year ☺️ ...just don’t tell Dom 🤫
Just a casual Wednesday at home 🍷💃🏼 • Two weeks ago we went to a wedding of one of our fave couples in Virginia 👰🏼🤵🏽 The wedding was beautiful and we were back in the crisp fall air of the east coast. I love going to weddings but always struggle with what to wear - especially during the colder months! So I did a round-up of potential dresses for wedding guests in my newest blog post, What to Wear to a Winter Wedding. Link in bio for inspo ❄️
Today is #smallbusinesssaturday and though it can be incredibly challenging and frustrating at times, I’m so proud to own a small business and be a part of this community 🌟 While I love the immediacy and convenience of Amazon and Target as much as the next person, there’s something special about supporting a small local business or a growing Etsy shop knowing there’s just a few creative people behind them. So thank you to everyone who has supported me and my new business over the past 10 months! I’m so excited to see how it grows and evolves over the next several years. If you can support a local business in your community today, please do!! #shoplocal #supportsmallbusiness
